The battle for the world champion title at Goa was hotter than the weather outside the competition hall!

86 contestants from 31 countries fought it out in The Holiday Inn over two days in the most exciting Sudoku tournament with such intensity that dazzles even the non-Sudoku fans.

Dr. Thomas Snyder, a PhD in biochemistry, of United States won the 3rd World Championship for the second time running. He also won the title as the best solver of classic Sudoku puzzles.
